scottopicThis, of course, sounds skeptical, but I acknowledge I may simply be wrong in my assessment:
How exactly would blowing up Holland Tunnel, while still being a horrible act for those within said tunnel, flood lower Manhattan? Manhattan is above sea level and the tunnel's level is below it.
Am I missing something?
Did we simply catch some really incompetent terrorists?

Date: 2006-07-07 06:58 pm (UTC)My take on it was that blowing up public rail (but not that tunnel) and the flooding were two separate acts in the same overall plan. One cause flood, two cut off escape. But blowing up a subway wasnt meant to cause the floor, that was a separate explosion at an area I dont quite understand.
