mind of wax.
Aug. 14th, 2005 12:34 pmWell, this has been fun. So after getting sick at the beginning of the week, something which seemed like a head-cold turned to dizziness mid-week, which had me assuming sinus infection. I went to a doctor and they started using words like 'arhythmia', which I assume has nothing to do with my ability to dance. It was weird that they noticed my heartbeat was off, but said nothing about the fact that I was congested until I re-mentioned it, and then they kinda said "oh yeah" and tacked on an antibiotics prescription.
So now I'm taking antibiotics, "anti-vert" and something to tell my heart to chill.
What's great is that my usual level of misstatements and misunderstandings has effectively tripled in the meantime. I've also missed half the social things I wanted to do this week, and there were about 8 messages on my phone I've not returned.
For what it's worth, I spent the evening following that doctor's appointment freaking the fk out. I hadn't noticed any sort of heart-irregularity until they pointed it out, and then I couldn't not feel it. I do feel more normal today, but I'm looking forward to the dizziness and nausea that I'll get from the pills I just took in order to battle my pre-existing dizziness and nausea.
The Greek has done her usual, exemplary job of taking care of me and dealing with my whining.
